Belle-3

Belle-3 marks Astro at Baylor Rocketry’s second appearance in International Rocket Engineering competition, and the arrival of a new generation of engineers.

With a team made up of more than half first-year students, Belle-3 became a proving ground for emerging talent, driven to push the rocket’s performance beyond all expectations. 

The vehicle introduced our team's first research payload, designed to investigate carbon-fiber stress during flight a step forward in turning the club's research payload program.

Belle-3 flew to an apogee of 12,000 feet, and recovered with zero structural damage, proving the young team's engineering skills.

Belle-3 wasn’t just a return it was an upgrade and proof that Baylor’s newest engineers are ready to compete.
